Twigmoor Woods

I don’t know why I don’t go to Twigmoor woods with the dog more often, perhaps its because the park is more popular with other dog walkers so she gets to play with others more. It’s also closer to the house than the park too. However, yesterday evening I decided to take her to the woods, and looking at the trees outside the house turning to Autumn, decided to take camera with me too.

As I headed out the door, I figured what the hell, camera without tripod is just going to lead to frustration in half an hour, so I took the tripod too so I could get away with a bit of a longer exposure.

There had been some discussion on a facebook group about the Gull Ponds at twigmoor, and I realised, that despite visiting 3 or 4 times a year, I could not recall in adult memory going down to the sandy beach there, so I decided that was where I’d go.

Dog loved it, as I expected she had loads of fun digging up the sand, running in and out the water and getting generally mucky.

Here’s some photos I grabbed in the woods, there are even a couple of the dog!
