Storms in North Lincolnshire 6th July 2012

6th July 2012 saw Scunthorpe inundated with a series of heavy rain storms.

The council were out pumping out residential areas both in town and also in the villages surrounding the area.

The previous day this had caused severer flooding in the town, this resulted in the new health centre being under water as well as several commercial properties in the highstreet.

Unfortunately I was working in Manchester that day, so I could not get to see any of it happening, but that evening when I got back I did manage to go and take some photos with the dog around sunset time.

The usual none commercial free use disclaimer goes with all these pictures, as does the obligatory shot of my dog, who for the first time in weeks returned home almost dry.
